Sales, Traffic, Moulah
Affiliate marketing is a fantastic way to gain new sales and unlike every day advertising you will only pay when you gain a lead or a sale.
Lets look at this in detail
You have merchants – The people who want to sell products or to gain new enquiries
You have affiliates – The people who can and will drive traffic to the merchants’ sites.
You have customers – The people who are looking for the products.
You have networks – The people who track every click and process payments.
OK lets piece this all together.
We have a visitor who is interested in men’s gadgets and they are on the affiliates’ site – this site could be in many forms it could be a forum on the latest gadgets, a review site, a site aimed at men such as a football site or it could just be a blog post about the top 10 new gadgets – on the affiliates’ site there is a banner advertising the merchants’ site, the visitor clicks onto the banner and goes on to make a purchase.
Once the visitor clicks on to the banner some clever software then tracks this user and when they go through the checkout it logs that the user came from the affiliates’ site.
The merchant and the affiliate have both signed up to a network that manages all the payments and tracks the clicks. The merchant may offer a set price per sale or lead or may offer a % of the total and they may also state that the affiliate will only get paid a commission on any sales just the once, for 30 days after the visitor clicked on the banner, or a % every time a sale is made.
It can be that easy, we can mange your entire campaign from set up though to execution ensuring we engage with affiliates and provide them with everything they need to sell your product effectively such as banners, text ads, copy, content, incentives.
If you’re an affiliate we can also provide you with web design and SEO service.
